good buys great buys! according to yins, this is my kou tou chan!
silly girl. she keeps calling me The Spastic Girl. cos she claims that ive become very spastic all of a sudden. but its okay. cos for some weird reason, an expression from me can make her explode into giggles. while i stand there and stare at her in bewilderment. haha. anyway. went to the sph newsprint this morning. was frigging late i had to cab there! shouldnt have, actually. since our entire class ended up waiting for tings till 8 when we were supp to meet at 730! that girl .. dont know what happened to her! -frowns- seems to be MIA again.
anyhow, kiat and i went to rol+lainey's estate before we meet the others .. and troublesome me with all the extra bags and crap got this v. filmsy bag from lainey and i ended up tearing it (and having to scotchtape it -hides face- cos i actually tore it even further can you believe it. im such a klutz. which reminds me of how while fiddling with lainey's pen and amusing myself with it, i actually drew lines on my top unknowingly! so spastic! who walks around town with two black lines and a v. VISIBLE bold dark dot?? was being v klutz-y just now :( ) and then we finally met at dhoby ghaut cos we planned to eat at fish+co for yins' bday! kiat was whining all the way .. and staring at my black 'artistic' lines .. someone came up with the 'artistic' term to console me .. which was really sweet. haha anyway. we saw dinah+xin across the mrt station and they started screaming and yelling 'seah yi xin!' across ._. after that wai+qing+xiu came .. and THEN .. we waited AN HOUR exactly for tham yin har that birthday girl ._. were STARVING terribly! tummies going concave already. and were grouchy (or maybe its just me ..) feet aching .. hair messy .. funny mud cult groups roaming around .. and for me, HAND ACHING with my torn isetan bag -_-" when the GUEST OF HONOUR finally arrived, we headed for fish+co and happily ordered, sat back, watched mtv, talked, till we couldnt stand it anymore! the service sucked! it was PREPOSTEROUS. wai waited for like, more than 1/2hr for A TEENY WEENY TIRAMISU CAKE ! outrageous i tell you. and we got so pissed we were crapping, really, about how they were just preparing the bait and all to catch our fish and then take another year to finally cook our fish .. and all the nonsensical stuff. haha. shared the seafood platter with lainey! it was FAB :D yay i made elaine happy. haha. and the people around fish+co were v. entertaining its like watching mtv. this asian+caucasion couple have 3 kids who all look so different! and there's this certain one who is SO cute. we realised that all the little boys we encountered today were all damn cute ! haha. and the 2 boys started dancing (fish+co plays nice songs) and they looked really v corny. haha and if im not wrong, someone actually took a picture of him ._. we're like a group of deprived girls falling for little boys. yea and when we looked out of the glass house .. shocker. HUGE groups of muds were streaming toward this .. mall or whatever, and all of them were in SUCH eccentric clothes its UNBELIEVABLE. and there was this guy whose hair is probably 30cm or something and he separates them into 2 sausage-like bunches and wax them straight out! it was totally gravity-defying and HORRENDOUS. and it was dyed green ._. and as we were pondering about this weird happening around us, another huge group streams in and as it was obvious that the dress code was black, suddenly there was this guy dressed in bright yellow! bright yellow suit jacket, bright yellow tights pants that decrease in size as it goes down the ankle .. and oh, it doesnt even cover the ankle! its REALLY eccentric. everyone in ths glass house were gawking and gaping at this sudden invasion of weird people. and they all looked so bu shuang! thought it was a gang but it was REALLY such a HUGE gang .. probably thousands of them, im not kidding! we thought there was gonna be a fight .. so exciting! but no, they just sit around and CHILL, continuing trying to look bu shuang. v. scary! they really wear similar clothes. waipai and i were having such a good time coming up with stupid scenarios of what might be actually taking place. was hilarious! laughed for the whole day. too lazy to elaborate though. anyway, they look like malvolio (if you study twelfth night, yes that malvolio), by the way. ok not as bad la, but they all seem to have some piercing at their mouth and they wear huge black leather jackets with scribbles, same pants that decrease in size, same rubber thingies around their chest .. ??! ok i think i just got carried away describing this cult group.
anyhow. one by one dinah xin and the rest started leaving .. then it was down to yins wai lainey rol and i .. happily walked around and bought stuff! theyre ALL sales items :D even a brush from the body shop is on sale ?? yea, then bought a fcuk bag and this urban and co 'pullover' cos it was so big and puffy on me, it could only serve as that. darn cheap. went to guess and lainey bought this 20BUCKS denim jkt! can you believe it. guess is having this major sale but we suspect that they have hidden all the nice clothes! :( saw this V. nice jkt! everyone unanimously agreed it was really nice! but unfortch it costs 169.90 (or smth) and its the kind that people might look at you weirdly if you wear it around. and it also looks like the kind that you'll grow out of liking it within a year .. so i sadly tore my eyes away from it. haha and there was this shirt that was kinda cute but they all shook their heads! hmprf. i dont care yins must go with me to get my nice 10bucks shirt from far east that i spotted in this magazine displayed in naturally jojo..lol. that shop is really corny. haha and at topshop, they started draping those WEIRD HUGE LONG RETRO BEAD NECKLACES around me! and yins keeps pulling it back and i look like some monk! and they forced me to try even more shocking ones and made me look in the mirror and said that it was nice! MORTIFIED. and we saw elvis+blondie tops that happen to be really nice but not worth the bucks at all cos they look like those good buys you find at pasar malam or far east -fainted-
after so long. i just realised i sound like im talking to myself.

it feels like it was yesterday that i went to sph.
haha. yet another failed attempt to tan :(
and now i have my menses! overshare. but anyway.
annoyed.

and lainey was so funny! constantly informing me that i really should buy the topshop bag when i was contemplating between an adidas and fcuk. rest assure, dear. im gonna get it, ok? lol. its WAY too small to be a sch bag la! thought we were a weird combi but it was such a fun day out ! though i was really moody at the beginning. i think shopping ceases the existence of pms! haha. i cannot believe we spent 3hrs walking from heeren to taka to wisma and back and forth and back and forth again and all over again..

and im really impressed by the efficiency of the machines at sph! everyone should go look if they can. its v cool! to see how the newspapers are made. and we had the EXCLUSIVE newpaper at 11am when they only hit newsstands at 2pm! haha. i dont think i'll ever tire watching the machines functioning. was standing there and marvelling .. esp at the parts when the machine tie the newspprs without even moving the newspprs! and the part when they count the newspprs to send out. and the robots were amazing! though we almost got killed (ok. exaggeration..but it was qt scary!) when they started closing on us cos we got in the way. haha. v funny.
